Where is my freezer data saved?
Frostia does not collect your lab data. Your workspace stays in this browser unless you connect your own Google Sheets spreadsheet for shared storage.
Do I need Google Sheets sync?
No. You can use Frostia locally first. Add optional Google Sheets sync when your lab wants shared edits across multiple members.
Can lab members use the same freezer workspace?
Yes. A main manager can share lab access with a lab code and approve members. To share freezer records across devices, connect optional Google Sheets sync.
Can I back up my data?
Yes. You can download CSV files for Excel-readable backups and JSON files for full Frostia workspace restore.
Is Frostia only for research samples?
No. You can track cells, media, antibodies, enzymes, proteins, DNA, and other frozen lab items by slot.
Is Frostia free to use?
Yes. Frostia is built as a free platform to make lab storage easier, especially for shared research freezers.
